Situations



Station WorkOut

We have done this workout at practice. Your son should have a good idea of what each of these workouts are. If they are doing this at home each station will be 30 seconds. You can add 5 seconds to each station every week or so to make it harder. The goal is to do as many CORRECT reps of each station within the amount of time.

  1. Push-ups (Upper Body)

  2. Squats (Lower Body)

    Sit back into the squat. Chest out, head up

  3. Sit-ups (Core)

    Bottom of your feet on the ground. Cross your arms. Elbows to your knees.

  4. I’s - Thumbs Up (Shoulders)

    2 Baseballs or 2 lbs weight in each hand. While standing and arms straight out in front of you. Go from your thighs to shoulder height with your arms. Create the letter i. Slow and controlled.

  5. Forward Stationary Lunges (Lower Body)

  6. Mason Twist (Core)

    On your butt, feet off the ground, Fingers interlocked, knuckles to the ground on both sides of you as fast as you can.

  7. T’s - Palms Down (Shoulders)

    Same set up as I’s but make a capitol T with your arms. Palms down.

  8. High Knee Jumps (Lower Body)

    Jump as high as you can. Knees to your chest. immediately jump again when you land.

  9. V-Ups (Core)

    Lay flat with arms stretched out flat as well. Have hands and feet touch over top of your belt then back down flat and repeat. FEET DO NOT TOUCH THE GROUND.

  10. Y’s - Thumbs down (Shoulders)

    Back of your hands facing each other, thumbs down. Make the top of a capitol Y in front of you.

  11. Ice Skaters (Lower Body)

    Jumping as far as you can to the side. Landing on one foot.

  12. 6 inch Leg hold (Core)

  13. T’s - Thumbs up (Shoulders)

    Same as T’s Palms Down BUT thumbs up this time.
